Make a List of the Camping Trailer Styles You Like!

Choosing the best RV requires some research.  You must decide whether the right camping trailer for you is an RV, tent trailer, truck camper, class C motorhome, or class A motorhome. There are many used RVs for sale.  If you're thinking of buying an RV read these tips to make sure you get the best buy for camping RV!

Buying a camping RV can be a simple camping trailer but you will still need a camping list to make sure you don’t forget anything.

camping rvThe camping RV comes in many shapes and sizes.  You can buy a tent trailer it is a small trailer with short side and the top is raised up to make the roof and the sides are a canvas or nylon material. They can be very basic with only sleeping accommodations to models that have all the creature comforts.

The trailer is a unit towed behind you car of truck, and is classified as a camping RV.  It has hard side walls and a hard top the side and the roof are fixed to one with and height  They can be equipped with all the creature comforts of home and come in 12 ft to 40 ft long.  You will need a special hitch for you vehicle to tow this unit if you vehicle is rated to tow a trailer.

 

The next type of camping RV is a class B or a van with a conversion kit some have a raised fiberglass roofs and may have fiberglass side panels that make the van wider.  They come with all the things one needs to go camping.

Another camping RV style is the class C motor home This is a unit that has the original factory factorcamping rvy cab and frame.  The fiber glass or metal body is added after at the motor home and can be anywhere from 18 ft to 32 ft long .These unit have all possible  things one would need for camping.

The final model is a class A motorhome which can be from 18 ft to 45 ft in length.  The frame and engine are one component and the body and interior is another component They have all the creature comforts including washer and dryers 

No matter which unit you decide to purchase new or used you should be sure it will meet all you needs. The Van conversions are the easiest to drive but have less features than the larger units. The vans unit get better fuel mileage and are like driving a large car.  The over all costs are far less than a class A or a class C.


The cost for the class C vs.. the class A for fuel mileage is about the same.  You will find both units have vary similar equipment in them.  Every thing from satellite  TV to generators.  The biggest different is the cost the bigger the unit the greater the cost.  yearly expense will be greater with a class A than a class C motor home.

The last unit is a 5th wheel that is a trailer that hooks up in the box of you truck.  The hitch is designed to be mounted into the box of you pick up .This unit come in sizes from 18 ft to 45 ft in length. The unit comes with all the equipment as the class A coach.  Fuel cost are only incurred by your truck for it has to pull the unit down the road down the road.
